Insula Hair Studio strives to ensure your complete satisfaction with our licensed mobile hair, wedding hair, and hair extensions services. If you are unhappy with your service, please let us know within 48 hours.


While all services are non-refundable, we offer corrective services free of charge based on management assessment. 

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior or if an artist feels their service environment is unsafe.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

To avoid fees, we ask that you notify us of a cancellation or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. A 50% deposit is required for reservations, and all hair extensions and wedding hair services are non-refundable.

No Show

In order to respect the time of our Artists, if an appointment is no showed you will be subject to a no show fee charge of the remaining amount due for services. This information will be applied to your customer profile with Insula Hair Studio and will be due via e-transfer. The initial reservation deposit for color and cut service will automatically be non-refundable.

Please be advised if you no show or stop communication with Insula Hair Studio for a redo reservation, we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge.


Please be courteous to your Artist and other clients. If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your appointment and assess a fee for the cost of services that you were scheduled for.


Insula Hair Studio will provide a cost of service quote after receiving all applicable information from client. A contract with further details will be sent via e-mail and upon return of signed copy a 50% deposit of total cost will be required to reserve your wedding day services. This deposit must be sent via e-transfer.

Methods of Payment

Insula Hair Studio accepts Visa, Master Card, Debit, PayPal and e-transfer.

Online Scheduling

Your request will be scheduled based on Artist availability. Your request is not approved until you receive confirmation from Insula Hair Studio.

Due to the cost of supplies, travel, and for respect of our Artist’s time; a 50% deposit of quoted cost of service is required to make a reservation. This deposit can be sent via e-transfer and is non-refundable for hair extensions and wedding hair services. If you reserved a hair color or cut service and cancel the appointment in 24 hours or less before your scheduled appointment the deposit will become non-refundable.

Head Lice

It is against policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service, your Artist will be unable to complete the service. Please do not reserve a Hair Artist if you are aware of a lice situation, there are businesses which specialize in such treatments.

Gift Certificate Policy


    • Gift certificates are treated as traditional monies and have no expiry

    • Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable

    • Please contact Insula Hair Studio concerning lost gift certificates

    • All gift certificates are non-refundable

    • Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash

    • Gift certificates are valid with Insula Hair Studio only for all products and services available
